We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to help design and deliver robust, secure, and high-performance web-based systems that support spacecraft operations and mission control.
As our Full Stack Developer, you’ll design, build, and maintain mission-critical web applications used for satellite operations, telemetry visualisation, and secure command interfaces. You’ll work across the full stack - from intuitive front-end dashboards to reliable, scalable back-end services - in close collaboration with systems engineers and mission operations teams.
This role is ideal for a mid to senior engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working on high-reliability systems, and contributing to architecture and technical direction.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Design and develop mission-critical web applications and dashboards for satellite operations and telemetry monitoring.
- Build and maintain scalable back-end services and data pipelines to process real-time spacecraft telemetry.
- Integrate real-time data feeds into intuitive, high-performance front-end visualisations.
- Ensure high standards of security, reliability, performance, and code quality using modern development best practices.
- Deploy and operate applications on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) using containerisation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with systems engineers and mission teams to define requirements and deliver integrated ground-segment solutions.
- Contribute to technical leadership, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
What we need from you:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in full stack software development
- Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)
- Strong back-end experience using Node.js, Python, or .NET
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and modern DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of secure coding principles and web security
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Advantageous experience:
- Experience with real-time data systems or event-driven architectures
- Background in mission-critical, regulated, or high-reliability environments
- Exposure to aerospace, satellite, or space systems
- Experience with data visualisation and complex dashboards
- Familiarity with telemetry or ground control systems
