Sales Engineer

Role Overview:

CubeSpace is looking for a driven and ambitious Sales Engineer to join our Commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, responding to customer enquiries, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting customers throughout the sales journey. Working closely with our technical teams, you will develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs while driving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond rapidly and professionally to inbound sales enquiries
  • Actively hunt for new leads and opportunities that will expand the sales pipeline
  • Prepare and submit compelling technical and commercial proposals and quotations
  • Drive and close new business across global markets, with a focus on responsiveness, persistence, and accuracy
  • Develop a solid understanding of CS’s ADCS products and confidently communicate their capabilities
  • Work with technical teams to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline, follow up proactively, and close deals
  • Maintain accurate sales data in the CRM and ERP systems
  • Support CS’s presence at international conferences, representing the company at booths and meetings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and successful customer onboarding

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of business development or hunting sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets (performance metrics or achievements should be available).
  • A genuine passion for sales, business development, and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
  • The ability to confidently engage in technical discussions with engineers and customers, translating technical concepts into customer value (deep subject matter expertise is not required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing professional proposals, quotations, and customer presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and develop practical, commercially viable solutions.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual who takes ownership, demonstrates resilience, and consistently follows through to achieve results.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis (potentially monthly) to attend customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Flexibility to accommodate customer engagements across multiple international time zones, including occasional after-hours meetings.
  • A valid passport and driver's licence, with the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
