Dublin, Ireland – 20 Nov 2025 — For satellite manufacturers across Europe, mission timelines are tightening and supply chain resilience has become a key focus. CubeSpace (CS), a trusted supplier of space-proven, mission-tailored satellite control systems (ADCS), has announced the opening of CubeSpace Limited, its new European headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, to help meet that demand head-on.
For more than a decade, CS has supported satellite builders worldwide with precision control solutions and end-to-end engineering support, from ADCS system design through to in-orbit commissioning. The company’s new European base will make it easier for customers to access that expertise and purchase products regionally, reducing procurement complexity and delivery risk. “Europe has been central to our journey from the beginning,” said Mike-Alec Kearney, CEO of CubeSpace. “Many of our closest and longest-standing customers are based here. Establishing CubeSpace Limited allows us to support them more directly while contributing to Europe’s growing emphasis on local manufacturing and sustainable access to space.”
Initially, the Dublin office will provide sales and customer support for CSs established ADCS product line. However, in the coming months, it will expand into EU-based production, giving customers the choice of made-in-EU ADCS products and solutions that align with regional sourcing and compliance requirements. “While in Dublin last month, I felt a real sense of homecoming and rightness,” added Kearney. “The Irish and South Africans share a similar outlook; a mix of humour, focus, and a drive to do great work. That culture fits perfectly with CS’s next phase of growth.”
The Dublin expansion marks an important step in CS’s broader global strategy. By late 2026 to early 2027, the company plans to offer US-made products through new partnerships. It has also appointed its first US-based team member, to be announced soon. “Our goal is always to operate as an extension of our customers' team. So whether they're designing, building, or operating their spacecraft, CubeSpace will be right there with them, regionally, reliably, and ready to help,” said Kearney.
CubeSpace (CS) is a global leader in Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS) for spacecraft up to 1 ton. With over a decade of flight heritage, CS has delivered more than 4,600 standalone products and 470 mission-tailored systems to over 290 customers worldwide. Close collaboration from mission design through in-orbit commissioning has shaped CS products to deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and seamless integration.
With teams in Africa, Europe, and the States, CS combines global support with fast, predictable delivery. This streamlined manufacturing approach enables consistent 8–12-week lead times at competitive pricing, ideal for both single missions and large-scale constellation programs. As a trusted control solutions partner, CS provides scalable, repeatable ADCS solutions that accelerate development, reduce integration risk, and get spacecraft to orbit sooner.
