Compact, High-Accuracy Sun Sensor

A high-accuracy, CMOS-based fine sun sensor with a wide field of view (FOV). It is optimised for low power consumption and features a pre-calibrated distortion model and integrated processor, and has immunity to albedo effects. Its housing is designed to allow for easy and robust mounting, while providing improved EMI mitigation. To support production and quality assurance at scale, we have dark optics tunnels designed and built in-house. These allow for the concurrent calibration of multiple fine sun sensors. The modular design of these tunnels makes them easily scalable based on production demands. The result is faster lead times for our customers.
